Just outside Rotterdam lies this stately property with a rural modern look located in the nature reserve De Oude Leede. I was involved from the very beginning which means almost everything came from my hand from sketching to lighting plans and daily coordination during construction. Besides selecting furniture we created the custom work the garden design and the adjacent outbuilding. The ground floor is spacious with a five metre dining table and a large seating area. The bedrooms are more cosy because there were limited cubic metres to work with and the family preferred generous living areas on the ground floor. A highlight is the see through fireplace facing the garden and the large fireplace in the seating area where the fire appears to rise from the floor.
Furniture, the environment, the accessories, the people. In a design concept, everything comes together as one whole. Sometimes using existing designs feels out of place. In that case, custom products are designed with GV Custom. For a final result where absolutely everything is perfect.
