The apartment of this client is located in the elegant district of Hillegersberg and was designed to be a place of calm and comfort. As she spends most of the year abroad, it was important that her home would allow her to host friends and enjoy social moments without having to go out. Previously, the apartment was not suited for this lifestyle: it felt dark, offered limited seating and had an outdated interior. By lowering the ceilings throughout the apartment by approximately five centimetres, we were able to integrate the mechanical ventilation flush with the ceiling in a refined way and design an entirely new lighting plan, which significantly enhanced the space. The large, bulky radiators were replaced with vertical models concealed behind the curtains, creating much more usable living space. The kitchen, featuring a bench connected to the island, is ideal for enjoying a glass of wine or a relaxed dinner with friends. In addition, all sanitary areas were renewed, and the client was given the walk-in closet she had long dreamed of, complete with a vanity and workspace.
I am extremely satisfied with Gigi’s work on the renovation and interior of my apartment. He thinks along proactively, works very carefully, comes up with smart solutions and has a great eye for detail. The final result is beautiful and fully aligned with my wishes.
