This villa, located in the heart of Maasdijk and just a stone’s throw from Hoek van Holland, features beautiful large rooms, spacious bedrooms and an enormous garden that was previously underused. Apart from three olive trees and a lawn, the garden was empty. The interior of the previous owner was colourful but lacked atmosphere; there were no cosy corners or good lighting. Everything was thoroughly transformed: the ceilings were lowered to create a strong lighting plan, a fireplace was added, the entire home was painted in neutral tones, and a warm, inviting atmosphere was introduced. In addition to supplying all furniture and coordinating the full renovation, GV Concepts also handled all built-in custom work, the garden design, and the installation of a professional hi-fi system including security in and around the property.
We are extremely satisfied with our collaboration with Gigi. From the very first contact, he clearly understood our wishes and ideas and translated them into a beautiful final result.
The main challenge was the large ground floor, which we found difficult to divide into a practical and cosy layout. Gigi immediately saw the potential and transformed it into a warm, inviting living space, with the fireplace as the central focal point. Communication throughout the project was clear and pleasant, everything was carefully discussed and perfectly arranged. We truly felt heard, guided through the process and completely taken care of. We would highly recommend Gigi to anyone looking for quality, creativity and a professional collaboration.
